Kardashian baby

So I don't care whether you think I'm sad or whatever but I woke this morning to some amazing news that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a baby!

Love them, hate them or don't really care about them. I'm obviously a big Kardashian fan, I'm happy for Kim particularly as in the show she's often spoke about her desire to settle down and have children. They both appear to be really happy and known each other for years so hopefully it will last. They're in a happy stable relationship, both completely loaded and the baby will have that special Kardashian gene making it absolutely beautiful. Congrats guys!

Rita Ora

Hey everyone, following my usual gander over the Daily Mail online I saw Rita Ora was pictured in New York recently with gooooorgeous curly hair and was wondering if any of you guys would be a doll and let me know how I could achieve this look?  It looks amaze! My hair is naturally pretty wavy so would probably be quite easy. I always ask my hairdresser to curl my hair when I get my hair done but these curls seem to be quite tight.

Do you like this look?

Tuesday night, gay night.

Sorry I know the quality of the photos are reaaaally poor. The camera I have cost me a lot of money but never seems to bring out the best pictures.

Anyway you can't see the garms very well but Topshop wedge boots that have been one of my best buys ever ever ever. River Island jacket and Primark dress that I've had for sooo long! Such a good buy that was.

January sales

I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself here but law essays do this to me. Christmas hasn't come yet and I'm already eyeing up the January sales. Normally this is a time when seeing items of clothing thrown across the floor leaves me in a cold sweat but this year I may re-consider. I don't know about anyone else but I occasionally stop and consider the sickening amount of clothes I actually have, yet always find myself wanting more. I wonder when this will ever stop.

At the top of my list is currently a pair of black riding boots. For me, the key to the January sale is to know what you want and seeking only to find that item. If your anything like me losing focus results in returning home with the same black leather shorts you have in your wardrobe.

lush

Something similar to these, but without the Lanvin price tag. I don't own a pair of boots like these, kinda crazy as they're an item that will last years and, that word again, are so versatile. Big investment to my wardrobe.

Customer service

I went shopping today to get my boyfriend some after shave back home in Peterborough today. Now normally I'm the type of person that doesn't like being harassed by sales assistants and like a good browse but today I went into town for help. I had no idea what I wanted to get him, but thought someone would be able to assist. The first place I went to was Boots, walking in was a group of female staff chatting away, great start. As I got to the men's section there was a horrible smell of weed anyway which made it impossible to know if I liked any smell. Lovely. Anyway, there was about 4 people in the area and not one even acknowledge me, let alone try to help me. F*ck this, nearest store was the Perfume Shop, again exactly the same thing. So off I went to Superdrug, no success. John Lewis are supposedly known for their fabulous customer service so off I went there and I stood there for a good 10 minutes and not one person made any attempt to help me. So I left without nada and now my boyfriend won't smell as good as I planned, not that he doesn't already, but...yeah.

Now none of them sales assistants had any idea that I was willing to spend up to £50, then maybe their attitude may have changed?  Had I actually been a qualified journalist writing for a popular newspaper/magazine me writing this could potentially cost them a lot of money.

Is Christmas time not the most competitive time for retail?

I've worked in retail in many different places such as River Island and the Body Shop and every training session emphasis was heavily placed towards giving the customer brilliant customer service. I found that simply greeting a customer that walked through the door went far even if they didn't buy anything. A couple of years ago I even got an interview with John Lewis and for a good 45 minutes bragged about their reputation for having the best customer service in retail. Lie.

I wish I'd said something, yes retail isn't the most interesting job but they're paid to do their job so should be done properly. I don't think saying hello to someone is much to ask.

What do you guys think? Have any of you experienced bad customer service?

Black fur hat

Can never go wrong with a bit of faux fur.I got this hat in November time whilst on Oxford Street from Topshop. It was £22 but £20 with my student discount. You've probably all seen it everywhere or even have it but I love it and have worn it so many times! It makes me feel really festive and good to wear when your hair's a bit of a mess (just like mine). It came in cream and white also, which I also wanted but thought black would be easier bet.

Cheryl Cole

Once again Cheryl Cole has stepped out looking incredible. Cheryl attended the L'oreal bash in London in with her gorgeous boyfriend Tre and showed off her incredible hair that I've always had massive hair envy of. Of course it isn't her own but she has a fabulous hair team.

She wore this cream jumper with a stunning black fur jacket over the top and an olive leather mini skirt finished off with matching low heels boots, red lips and red nails. Love this look so much.

What do you guys think to this?

The black jumpsuit

I need help. Not in the general sense but in the wardrobe kinda sense. I'm on the hunt for a long sleeve black jumpsuit. I have a New Look one I got for a mere £7 and wear it all the time but it's strapped and not ideal for winter. With Christmas approaching I think it would look great and also keep me warm. Recently I've been like a crazy woman with Uni work and now I have the chance to actually breathe think it would be nice to treat myself for a change so here's to hunting.

The picture that has inspired my search, Rachel Zoe who is amazing

Its like the LBD, so versatile and an essential  to your   my wardrobe.
Here's a few I like

Party leggings

So I know I haven't posted anything for a crazy amount of time but I've living, breathing Uni work, which currently I should be doing but I just got too excited about the prospect of party leggings.

I love leggings. You can never ever go wrong with a pair of leggings. They're so versatile. You can dress them up for a night out with heels, a cute top and blazer or keep it casj with trainers and a hoody, great when struggling with early mornings and not enough time to get ready (story of my current life) and a simple black pair of leggings will work when you pair it with an item of clothing that's more, 'busy', shall we say.

Here's a few I love...

Love these so much. They look sooo comfy  and I really like the zips on the side. Perfect for the festive season.

Going casj,I'd wear these with a knee length black boot and dress up with super high heels for evening

These pink space dye leggings from Topshop would look cute in summer .Dressed down with some pumps and paired with a pointy heel for evening.

You can never go wrong with a wet look legging. Worn with trainers and big fur coat I reckon it would look cool.
