Big hair

Who doesn't want big gorgeous hair like the Victoria's Secret angels? Since I've ditched the extensions (so 2012) I've gone lighter and I've been after big curly hair. I'm steering away from straighteners/hair dryers, being extra careful when brushing and generally trying to be healthy to get my hair naturally long.

I've been using this product to give my hair body and curls.

I've found that this product works best when my hair is damp. I tip my head upside down, and whilst spraying I scrunch. It smells nice, has lasted me ages and doesn't leave my hair greasy. After a hair cut my hairdresser does it big and curly and will put the hairdryer on a low heat to set the curls. Toni and Guy had a product that looked like this.

I absolutely loved this product. It smelt amazing and I used it in the same way I use the sea salt spray now. The key with these products I've found is not to use too much product. Trust me, I've learnt the hard way. It leaves you with matted hair that's impossible to wash. When I've used so much product I shampoo twice to get rid of all the product.

On Friday I came across this.

The bottle is basically a mix of hairspray, wax, sea salt spray and other ingredients to give you big super sexy hair. I've read on a couple of blogs that people complain that this left their hair clumpy. The trick is to shake the bottle to let the wax and ingredients to mix together. The one and only time I used this I sprayed it directly onto my hair. Do not do this. Don't get me wrong nothing disastrous happens, but two days later you will regret this. Next time I'll spray a bit on my hands and work through my hair. Right now I have big curly hair but some clumps of product. Washing my hair will be fun... Wish me luck.
